Site of Saint John's Green, Witton Gilbert (Witton Gilbert)

The fragmentary remains of a Medieval chapel are incorporated into the west wall of a ruined cottage at St John's Green. The remains of a window are placed centrally. A very small portion of the north and south walls, possibly the cottage can also be seen, although the remainder of the chapel cannot be traced. The building was demolished circa 1980.
