Aldin Grange Bridge, Bearpark (Bearpark)
This medieval bridge crosses the River Browney at Aldin Grange. It has an unusual flat arch and curves of a very small radius at each end and is built from square sandstone blocks. A bridge is first mentioned at this site in 1370. However, this present bridge was probably built in the early fifteenth century. It is no longer in use by traffic as there is a modern bridge just to the north. It is a Grade II Listed Building and Scheduled Monument, protected by law.
