Neolithic axe findspot, Esh Winning area (Esh Winning)
A Neolithic stone axe of fine volcanic tuff was found at the bottom of a ditch at Esh Winning on the south side of Priest Burn in 1934. It is now in Sunderland Museum. (1) (3)
