Semaphore signal on the Byerley Road/Redworth Road roundabout, Shildon

There is a semaphore signal on the roundabout at the junction of Byerley Road, Redworth Road, and the B6282. This dates from much later than 1825 but is a remnant of the busy lines running through Shildon from the wagon works. (1)
