Duke Street is a uniform terrace constructed from stone under slate roofs with stepped ridge and brick chimneys, all with blue and white painted woodwork to traditional sash windows and solid timber doors with two pane overlights. Dwellings have pecked and margined stone lintels and painted sills, blue painted cast iron rainwater goods. Intact outbuildings to rear with mono pitch roofs, low chimneys and timber access hatches.
