Rock House, Tempest Road, Seaham
Mentioned in the 1861 census of Seaham built reputedly built around 1855. The surviving building is only a part of a larger structure, but has had various uses over the last fifty years but mainly as a community centre. It was last used about six years ago and is owned by Durham County Council. Was threatened with demolition in 2010 (1-3). It has strong architectural detailing (4).
