Column Cottage (Alnwick)
This cottage was formerly known as 'Wager Cottage'. It was built in the early 19th century by the Duchess of Northumberland. Her husband the Third Duke of Northumberland had bet her that the house could not be built in a fortnight, but he lost the wager. It is a Grade II Listed Building.
