Boundary stone (Alnwick; Denwick)
The boundary stone stands on the boundary of Alnwick and Denwick parishes. It probably dates to 1776, when Alnwick Corporation was given lands near Freeman's Well by the Duke of Northumberland. The stone is inscribed A (Freemen of Alnwick) and N (Duke of Northumberland). It stands 0.6m high. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.
