Romano-British settlement, Hind Gate, Holwick (Holwick)
A number of remains can be seen at this site. The traces of a Roman settlement survive, and include a D-shaped hut circle, the foundations of a small rectangular building. The remains of a possible cairn stands nearby. These are Scheduled Ancient Monuments, protected by law (1) (3).
